About Ferda Farms

Since 1989, the goal of Ferda Limousin Farms has been to develop and maintain an elite group of Limousin females and bulls. Our commitment to this goal has allowed us to produce select bull calves that express volume and thickness. Our Limousin females have consistently provided uniformity, with commercial soundness and ease of calving.

Ferda Limousin Farms was established in 1989 and is run entirely by the family of Ken and Rebecca Ferda, and their sons Bolton and Landon. All the cattle supplied by Ferda Limousin Farms are bred and reared on their family properties east of Medford, Okla.

Ferda Limousin Farms pride themselves in the use of cutting edge technology in their ranching operation. Through artificial insemination, females are mated to individually selected sires to optimize the quality of each calf produced. The Ferdas also utilize the Heatwatch System to minimize labor and maximize calf crop percentage. Their embryo transfer techniques are based on proven donor females selected for consistency and quality.

It's no secret that the Ferdas are excellent cattlemen. In fact, the OLBA recognized them as the Family of the Year for their outstanding ranching practices. Click here to read more about the award they received.
